Yeah, a Tarot deck would be hard to balance for sure. Some of the cards are pretty bad, but they're all better than e.g. the 8 of clubs. I guess except Death if all your cards are tarot XD
negative blackjack could never and will never be a thing. the format don't support it, it wouldn't make sense with how the negative cards say " * effect cannot be reduced below zero". not to mention that there is no negative limit.
you could potentially have a card that multiplies all current played card values by -1. in fact you could probably theme it after the inverter from shotgun roulette.
consistency. you could wait until it's the last card in your deck then ask for valentines to get a good 20 +free healing. or you could just have a risk-free 18 for as long as you like.
New update is amazing, but please tone down the glitchy effect on the glitch cards it's straight up nauseating unless ironically the glitch deck glitched out for me and got more intense.

This new update's excellent! The new art is so pretty and fitting, and it's got such a new polished feel to it! Looking at the backgrounds and cards now is so cool!
I love the new art style, I love the new cards, I love the new table background! It's set such an amazing tone and feel, I absolutely love it all! Compliments especially to the credit card, which looks so much better now!
Another random question, would it be possible to get the pre-updated version uploaded separately? I really enjoyed how that one played. Not that this one isn't bad at all, don't get me wrong. I just would like to be able to play the other one when I'm at work on breaks and what not. :)
It's probably just me but a few things I'd like to mention about the update. The "Glitch" effect on the cards is very distracting. I know it's supposed to be but prior to the update it seemed a lot more tame. Overall it seems very dark. Granted it fits the "environment". I'm sure I'll have some other things later but don't get me wrong I still plan on purchasing this when it hits Steam!
the only thing is i would like changed is the art of the drunk. make him look like he is depressed and trying to do a edgar allan poe if you know what i mean
it's not necessarily harder, but it's mostly for more experienced players because glitch cards can mimic any card in the game, so you would probably need to be familiar with such cards.
I have a lot of fun playing this I just wish there was some sort of save option, I know it's probably part of the experience I just wish I wasnt getting super far and then starting from the beginning it makes me not want to play over and over in one sitting which i think Id be able to do if there was more save progress
otherwise a super fun game I really love sitting and playing
I have made it to the VIP area on all difficulties and I might have a gambling addiction now, please release the full game so I don't spend all my money at real casinos.

this could be something similar to black deck in balatro, with the advantage being insignificant (probably) to start, and the downside (the glitch cards) making it very hard, but then later the advantage (the memory card) making it overpowered later on.
if you can think of a more punishing card (than glitch)then feel free to use that instead.
Probably a deck crammed with 13s and one memory card would work better here, since 13s cripple the deck (13 is a terrible score) but don't shut it down completely (memory card is worth 8.)
I know! I refused to fight him unless I have no option or I have a reverse or a business card and I steal that memory card so quick.. If I'm lucky enough.

I think there may be a bug where it might invert colours. idk it only happened to me once.

The Settings now contain a Glitch Intensity modifier. By default it's at 3, if you want the original effect set it to 1.

I think it would be hilarious to have a card that is just the 22 or 23 of the suit. That way, not even the rules card can stop it from being terrible!

originally and currently, that is true for some of them.
that was originally one of the major downsides of "the star" which used to give free healing.

A glitch card turned into a fool at the perfect time to swap my entire deck with the wizards entire deck.
But I had The Lovers, Blood Donor, and Credit Card.
I also had birthday card though. when do you think I will win? will I ever win? will I ever lose with all the valentines day cards?
I think The lovers should say "after third use, burn on discard" with a counter for how many times it has been used.
currently have more than 42 one of nothings and birthday card is at 14.
birthday card just turned 15 and I have 49 cards total.
they just glitch green carded their blood donor card. also at one point they glitch rules carded their bust limit to be 20.
