Genuinely a super fun game, I wasn’t sure if I could make it far enough to completely break the game in the demo, but I hit the coin flip on my Death tarot card, ending up with 3 in the deck, and then immediately went on to crash the game in my next encounter. Honestly a huge plus in my book if it’s able to be broken like this lmao. It didn’t crash on this one, but then I immediately hit another Death and with something like 3,678 cards in my deck, 258 being Death’s, it broke, hell yes, I adore this game

i have no fucking idea how to play cards. 9/10
same, I can't figure out whether I'm supposed to have a higher or lower score than the bartender because I always seem to lose health
I've never played balatro, but this game seems better to me because I like blackjack, while I have no idea how to play poker.
I spent hours playing only the demo.

Holy shit this was fun! I already liked blackjack, and this is blackjack on steroids.
The janitor locked my king of hearts and ace of hearts, meaning I start each round with 21

As fun as always. However, if I might suggest something, I believe that a way to switch to the other path (e.g. switching from Lou's to The Basement,) via an event or some other means. Something no one would think to do for it would be interesting, similarly to upgrading a 13 at the counterfeiter.

this game is basically the predecessor to balatro
There are a lot of games like balatro, though I don't quite understand what made the difference that that was succesfuul instead.

Nice game, the art is the best I've seen such as the consistency is solid, the theme is there and the small details such as the cards being used and worn are a nice detail. The animations are fluid, the sounds effects are good, the music fits, the dialog grabs the players interest and the events feel important to the game play. Never thought I'd play a modified version of blackjack against a rat... never thought I'd lose either... Either way, SOLID game, one of the best pixel art games I've played. Nice job.
This is a really fun and addicting game. Always remember: 99% of all gamblers quit before they win big.

Broken chip + Communism = Stupidity
If they stand early you can just keep re-using the Communism card and play your whole deck (I got stopped because I had a mana four seven seven but other than that you can play your whole deck) could probably do INSANE damage if you have that card that deals damage based of of cards drawn at the end

i managed to kick bouncers ass by playing a dis-card to discard his foil 21 of spades after he stood. i used to have beef with that stupid man, so lets see if this will work
